Men Need to Know

The Numbers Australian Men Need to Know

~40%

of Australian men aged 45+ don’t produce enough testosterone

24,000

men studied low T linked to significantly higher all-cause mortality risk (UWA 2024, Annals of Internal Medicine)

63%

of Australian men suffer with mental wellness issues stemming from physical symptoms they don't understand; most suffer in silence.

The problem isn't that men don't care about their health. It's that most have never been given a clear, accessible path to find out what's actually going on. That's exactly what Enovar was built to fix.

The data is clear. The question is where you stand.

What We Assess

& Optimise

Hormone / Marker

What It Tells Us

Total & Free Testosterone

Your primary androgen drives energy, muscle, libido, and mood

SHBG (Sex Hormone Binding Globulin)

How much testosterone is actually available for your body to use

LH & FSH

Whether the hormonal issue is in the testes or the brain’s signalling pathway

Oestradiol

Testosterone converts to oestrogen. Balance matters for men too

DHEA-S

The precursor to testosterone; declines rapidly after age 40

Cortisol (morning)

Chronic stress directly suppresses testosterone production

TSH, fT3, fT4

Thyroid function is one of the most overlooked drivers of fatigue in men

⚠️ Why this matters: You can have a ‘normal’ testosterone reading on a standard test, but have critically low free testosterone due to high SHBG. This means the hormone is there, but your body can’t access it. Without a full panel, this gets missed every single time.

Why Hormone Balance Matters For Men 35 and Over

Testosterone

Drops roughly 1% per year from age 30. By 45, you could have 15–20% less than you did in your prime, and most men have no idea.

DHEA

Often called the ‘youth hormone,’ it peaks in your 20s and is in significant decline by your mid-40s. Low DHEA is associated with fatigue, low mood, and reduced physical resilience.

Cortisol

Your stress hormone tends to rise with age and chronic work pressure. High cortisol directly suppresses testosterone production, compounding your hormonal deficit.

Thyroid

Function slows in most men over 40, reducing metabolic rate, energy, and cognitive sharpness and yet thyroid is rarely tested in standard men’s health panels.

The result? By your mid-40s, you may have four separate hormonal systems working against you at the same time and feeling it in every area of your life.

Our science-backed approach doesn’t just check testosterone. It maps the full picture and addresses each imbalance with a personalised protocol.

Test-Based Supplementation. Not Guesswork.

Every man is different. A protocol that works for someone else may not be right for you. Without blood data, there is no way to know.

At Enovar, nothing is prescribed or recommended without your results in front of us. Your blood panel drives everything:

If your testosterone is clinically low — we discuss TRT, medically supervised, doctor-prescribed, and TGA-compliant

If your cortisol is elevated — adrenal support and lifestyle protocol alongside hormone therapy

If your thyroid markers are suboptimal — factored into your complete protocol

If your DHEA is depleted — targeted, science-backed supplementation is part of your plan

Personalised protocol. Proven science.

Frequently

Asked

Questions

What hormones do you test?

We test 20+ biomarkers including total and free testosterone, SHBG, LH, FSH, oestradiol, cortisol, DHEA-S, and thyroid markers (TSH, fT3, fT4), which is far more comprehensive than a standard GP test.

How do I know if my hormones are out of balance?

Persistent fatigue, mood changes, belly weight gain, poor sleep, low libido, brain fog, and declining motivation are the most common signs. Importantly, many men have hormone levels in the 'normal' range on basic tests but are suboptimal for their age. The only definitive way to know is a comprehensive blood test. Our $88 panel gets you answers within days.

Is Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) safe?

When medically supervised and regularly monitored, TRT is safe and well-evidenced. All Enovar patients on TRT have blood tests every 3 months, with AHPRA-registered doctors reviewing results and adjusting dosing as needed. We monitor testosterone levels, red blood cell count, prostate markers, and cardiovascular indicators.

Do you treat conditions beyond low testosterone?

Yes. Hormonal health is a system, not a single number. We assess and address cortisol imbalances, thyroid dysfunction, DHEA deficiency, and oestradiol levels as part of a comprehensive approach. For many men, optimising multiple hormonal systems simultaneously produces far better results than addressing testosterone in isolation.

How soon can I start?

You can begin today. Take our free 30-second Prime Check and order your blood test. Most men complete their assessment and receive a personalised protocol within 7 days. No GP referral required. Available Australia-wide via telehealth.

What is the difference between total testosterone and free testosterone?

Total testosterone measures all testosterone in your blood. Free testosterone measures only the portion your body can actually use which is typically just 1–3% of total. Many men have adequate total testosterone but low free testosterone due to high SHBG, which means the hormone is present but inaccessible. Standard GP panels often only check total testosterone, which is why men are told they're 'normal' while still experiencing every symptom of low T. Our panel checks both.

Is TRT available across Australia?

Yes. Enovar operates as a fully telehealth platform. You can access doctor consultations, blood test orders, and prescriptions from anywhere in Australia including regional and rural areas. Medications are delivered directly to your door via e-script and our partner pharmacy network.

Ready to Know What Your Hormones Are Actually Doing?
